FAQ`s

In order to qualify for our academic offerings, you must be a member of the faculty, the administration or the student body of a recognized educational facility. We will need your bone fides to include a copy of your institution's ID. Please go to Register at the bottom of the Index on the left, fill out the form and submit it to us with either a faxed, scanned, or emailed copy of your ID. All Customer Service and Sales Departments are available from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday EST. Our Toll Free phone line (800) 231-6987 is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Our Sale Fax number (561) 218-0693 is available 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Order Receipts

A packing slip is included in the shipment of your order. A receipt will be emailed, faxed or mailed separately to your billing address.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs vary with the weight of the order and the shipping method used. UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, Overnight and FedEx options are available for most orders. Call a sales representative prior to shipping to discuss the shipping price.

What is the difference between the products offered and the commercial versions of the products?

NOTHING. Aside from the pricing, the products offered from these manufacturers are functionally identical to the retail versions. As a student, you are eligible to purchase one copy of each software title at an educational discount.


Is the software from these manufacturers a legal license copy?

YES. We are an authorized educational reseller for the manufacturers listed herein and specialize in the higher education market in the United States. Once you register your software, you will be in full compliance with all software regulations.


Who is qualified to purchase software?

Registered students, faculty and staff members or academic institutions can qualify for educational discounts. Student that have graduated or are no longer registered will NOT be able to purchase software at educational pricing.


Do I need to send my academic ID every time I place an order?

We keep all academic ID`s on File. The ID is valid until the expiration date. If your ID does not have an expiration date, it will be valid during the current semester or school year printed on the ID. If your institution does not issue ID`s, a class schedule or registration receipt would be sufficient verification.


When may I expect delivery of my order?

Orders placed before 3PM are shipped the SAME DAY from one of our conveniently located warehouses depending upon delivery location and availability. Some orders are shipped directly from the manufacturer to the customer and may be shipped using an alternative carrier. The standard shipping is UPS Ground delivery, however, other carriers such as FedEx are available at an additional charge for shipments that require faster service than standard Ground delivery. Carrier time frames do not include weekends or holidays when configuring transit times.


What is your Return Policy?

You may return most items you have purchased within 30 Days of delivery providing the box is Unopened. Software that has been opened and is defective may be exchanged for a replacement item of the same title and platform only. NO RETURNS for refunds are accepted on opened items. Products returned without obtaining an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) will be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of NUBS Computer Center. Defective items returned outside the 30 days from delivery will be subject to the manufacturers warranty.
